With the Patravi EvoTec BigDate, Carl F. Bucherer presents the first
ladies’ watch based on the visionary EvoTec Manufacture Concept. BigDate
shares several features with PowerReserve. There are identifying
features too like its size: 39.2 mm x 38.5 mm and its caliber CFBA
1003. In two of the four versions so far available, the bezel is fitted
with 56 of the purest diamonds, emphasizing the character of this watch
as a modern piece of jewelry. With the jewels becoming finer towards
the corners and their slightly convex shape, this setting perfectly
emphasizes the elegant shape of the case.
The silver dial of the Patravi EvoTec BigDate presents an elegantly
sleek look with fine index marks for the hours. The black dial offers an
extremely attractive alternative: with fascinating high-quality black
mother-of-pearl with its natural play of colors at the center, while on
the outside there are longitudinal index marks and five diamonds, also
set in a dome-shaped framework, indicating the hours.
A striking feature of the Patravi EvoTec BigDate is the date
indication in the double window, positioned in the upper left quadrant
of the dial, the dimensions of which are unusual even for a big date.
The elegant small seconds at 6 o’clock skillfully takes up the shape of
the case and is a perfect counterpart to the date.
Naturally not only the front face but also the back of the Patravi
EvoTec BigDate has a sapphire crystal, which permits an unimpeded view
of the evenly ticking microcosm of the Manufacture movement. This watch
